The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Vaqueros (12-3) in Santurce on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by second ranked Cangrejeros (8-6) 78-71. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Vaqueros. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. It was a good game for the former international forward Angel Matias (194-1992, college: Georgia South) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Forward Angel Rodriguez (193-1992, college: PR-Bayamon) contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners.
